Art Director. Really Short.

Filmography

I was a film student at Northwestern University, and during that time I spent all of my weekends on sets. Here are some of my favorite things that I’ve worked on.

“Face to Face” (Director)

In 2018, I put together a crew of 62 people, who in the dead of Chicago winter, put together a slice of life short film about a person who woke up every morning with a different face. Here are a few stills from this amazing project.

“Ketchup and Blood” (Production Designer)

Production designers are the ones who turn a shooting location into an element of the story. I worked with props, paints, and even food to bring an empty space to life in a snapshot period piece about the horrors of segregation in Jackson, Mississippi, 1963.

“The Last Slice” (Director)

A three minute short film, shot in one continuous take, about two college freshman who REALLY want pizza.

“Harvest” (Writer)

A television pilot twisting crime and medical procedural into one. Eve Knite is a by-the-books surgeon until she finds herself working for the black market organ trade. An original origin story of an unlikely villainess.

“Forever Young” (Writer)

A “Fresh off the Boat” spec script based on my own experiences growing up in an immigrant Chinese family. Jessica and Louis become obsessed with maintaining their youth and rope their unwilling children along for the ride.
